A long form social documentary celebrating the lifelong obsession and an undying love the iconic British genre that is Drum & Bass.

Project strategy was to highlight Spotify’s cultural leadership and understanding through social-first content pieces. Through their partnership with Drumsheds, they wanted to celebrate club culture and the diverse sub-genres of the Dance and Electronic space. The content needed to be culturally relevant and ownable, whilst engaging fans, ultimately driving talkability across their key platforms.

Shot at Drumsheds in North London during the Worried About Henry show, the film features a hero interview with D&B legend, DJ Flight (becoming the first DnB documentary to hero a woman of colour), archive footage from Eddie Otechre, a varied custom soundtrack that touches on different subgenres of D&B to form a punchy, impactful edit that's made for social.
